When I was debating buying this bag, I found zero reviews of it. It’s impossible to find in stores. A friend just bought it for me so now I can tell you, it’s a hot diaper bag. For some reason, men love it. I think the material reminds them of stripper boots – anyway, it’s perfect. I got the black one, even though my friend said the white one looks much better (probably because of the tan attachments, why didn’t they make those black on this bag?). I was looking for something that wipes up easily, will hold up in the MidAtlantic snows, can be held via a cross-body strap, as well as over the shoulder while wearing a coat (most handles are too small), had interior pockets and exterior ones -this one has magnetic closures(friends w/ kids have warned me about this being non-negotiable when searching for keys, phone, pacifiers, etc). I’m a first time mom, so I took them at their word. Size matters as well, but I wanted something that could double as a purse for work, my laptop, etc. This fits all of the above. The Emily was a close 2nd, but my friend said she tried that one on too and it was too small/too hard to locate small items inside. I also prefer clean lines on the outside of a purse, which most diaper bags do not have. I’m very picky about my accessories and searched far and wide (even in London) for the perfect bag for me. Normally I carry a black Kate Spade bag or an off white London Fog leather purse, if that helps w/ perspective. Of course, I also have a bright pink Chanel bag. I’ve only had it a few days though, so I’ll have to post a follow up once it’s had some use.

Great Bag!! I highly recommend it as it’s stylish and practical and extremely easy to carry. It fits all the baby stuff and more and still looks good. I am asked constantly where I bought it. I have 3 other Storksak bags which I use for daily use and going out now that my kids are older. I love them all.

My Perfect Diaper Bag!, January 25, 2012

    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

I am due with our second and my kids will be 14 months apart. I needed a functional diaper bag that I did not mind carrying for the next few years. I obsessively researched bags because I am pregnant and have tons of baby things from the last round. I totally spluged and bought this bag despite so few reviews and no stores carrying them on the floor. It came today and I am super happy with my decision. It is big enough for two kids and my stuff. It is stylish enough to retire the purse and carry just this bag. You could even use it for a work bag with a laptop. The straps are sturdy and comfortable and the construction is solid. The straps will not be pulling away from this bag. The pockets are generous and even full, it is still comfortable to carry unlike the heavy leather options.
I was worried about the size of the changing pad, but unfolded; it is plenty large enough. I was glad to see that it had “feet” on the bottom to keep the corners from wearing. The only regret: the leather accents would be nicer in black or a little darker. They are real leather but look cheap because they are so bright….meh. I can live with that.
